Our vision for golf at Haig Point is to provide a golf experience “second to none.” And we can all truly say that the opportunity for a memorable experience with every round exists in this protected paradise.
It’s all here! The views of the sound and the ocean are beautiful, as are the inland holesthreaded through magnificent live oaks and magnolias with wild life abounding. Each unhurried and uncrowded round provides an atmosphere of peace and tranquility far different from other courses.
We are also fortunate to have had one of the finest golf course architects, Rees Jones, who created a true masterpiece at Haig Point. The Calibogue Signature Course is one of the greatest championship venues in the world of golfwhile the Haig Course offers a more forgiving round for higher-handicappersand the Osprey nine is a nice change of pace for our members.
Enjoy the experience! There are few like it if anywhere.

At Haig Point, the ideal routing allowed us to take full advantage of the seaside elements of the island in building the Calibogue Course, along with the more playable Haig Course in which two different par-threes were built with additional tees.

The creation of two courses in one was possible due to the addition of two extra inland par-threes adjacent to the 8th and 17th holesand many diverse tee placements throughout the course. The result was 20 golf holes, 96 tee boxes and two distinct and equally beautiful golf courses with different degrees of difficulty and shot-making requirements.

The Haig Point golf experience is rounded out by the par-36, Osprey nine, also designed by Rees Jones. The Osprey nine is slightly less demanding for mid- to hi-handicappers, but it is a perfect complement or change of pace from the coastal nines.
